Private Full Day Experience, Left Bank: Médoc (Priced Per Group)

€1,195.00

Cabernet Sauvignon, classified growths, and the historic heart of Bordeaux

Your private group, accompanied by a WSET Level 3 Awarded Guide (with Distinction), will travel north from Bordeaux along the famed Route des Châteaux into the Médoc, where some of the world’s most celebrated wines are produced. This is the homeland of Cabernet Sauvignon — structured, age-worthy wines shaped by gravelly soils and centuries of winemaking tradition.

Your day includes private visits to carefully selected estates, including a classified growth château, where you’ll explore vineyards, vat rooms and cellars while gaining a clearer understanding of how these iconic wines are made. Along the way, you’ll learn how terroir, blending decisions and aging practices come together to define the distinctive style of the Left Bank.

Expect guided tastings that bring clarity to what can otherwise feel complex — why these wines taste the way they do, how they evolve with time, and what makes each appellation unique.

The experience provides our guests with a full day of discovery, thoughtfully paced, with time to enjoy the landscape, ask questions, and develop a deeper appreciation for the great wines of the Médoc.

Pricing shown is per private group of up to four guests; up to two additional guests may be added at €100 each. Pricing is adjusted automatically on the booking calendar based on the number of persons in your group .

Included:

  • Professional English-speaking wine guide

  • Separate professional chauffeur

  • Pickup in Bordeaux

  • Visits and tastings at two or more châteaux

  • Entry and tasting fees

  • Comfortable transport between appellations

Not included:

  • Lunch

  • Personal wine purchases

  • Shipping of wine purchases (can arranged separately)

Dress consistent with the weather on the day of the tour. We will likely enter the vineyards, so footwear should allow walking in that environment.

Bookings, once confirmed, are non-refundable.
